Hydrangeas and Your Escort Table
We are back today with another amazing creation from Griffin-vites. A bride having a Sconset wedding this past September asked Sarah to incorporate hydrangeas in to her escort table signage. Didn’t this come out beautifully! A different way to let your guests know where they are sitting – this is great for outdoor weddings where there may be a breeze.
Griffin-vites Hydrangea Stationery
Sara from Griffin-vites Stationery is here today to share a design perfect for your Nantucket wedding.
Not only is Nantucket a historically charming, romantic and unique place to get married, but it certainly brings forth a ‘style’ all its own. The look of the island is fresh, clean and coastal…. with a fair amount of ‘preppy-ness’ thrown in the mix. Visitors can’t help but notice the abundance of lush hydrangea bushes, as well as the multitude of locally made Nantucket baskets.
Our latest ‘Nantucket’ collection caters to that chic couple, looking to bring a bit of island flare to their wedding papers. From the dark navy and white striped border, the scattered blue hydrangea blossoms and eccentric whale basket topper…. we think we captured the feel of this gem in the sea!
This set is stunning Sara! Thanks for sharing with us. Check out more of Sara’s custom watercolor work at www.Griffin-vites.com

Vintage Nantucket
Being that Nantucket is an old school whaling town there is a ton of history in the island air. From the Nantucket baskets, wooden sailboats and all the vintage pieces you can really feel as if you are stepping back in time. We thought we would honor this history with a simple inspiration board that ties it all together. You can have that vintage island feeling at your wedding by adding in a splash here and there.

All About Flowers – Anthurium
With their open, heart-shaped flowers and tropical disposition, it’s no wonder that anthurium have come to symbolize hospitality. Also known as the Flamingo Flower, Boy Flower, Painted Tongue and Painter’s Palette – because of their distinctive shape and color – the name anthurium comes from Greek, meaning ‘tail flower.’ Exotic and compelling with bold, typically red flowers and shiny, dark green foliage, anthurium, like the hospitality they represent, are long-lasting and irresistibly beautiful.
