With the blizzard hitting the Northeast this weekend we were inspired by snowflakes.  Here are some fun ideas for a winter wonderland wedding.

With the temperatures dropping outside it got us thinking about ice.  In the wedding world, that translates to diamonds.  There is no doubt that the royal wedding next spring will have a big influence on fashion and trends in the coming months.  We saw this inspiration board on Snippet and Ink and immediately saw the ring that looked similar to Princess Diana’s.  Which got us thinking – what is your style in wedding rings?  Do you have a family heirloom that is passed down, are you a princess cut, will your ring be all diamonds, or are you going to make a bold statement with color?  We’d love to hear about it.

WOW! This color combo can be done oh so right! With the rich tones of our Nantucket’s native cranberry this board has some serious pop. Have you considered adding a splash of cranberry into your Nantucket wedding?

Being that Nantucket is an old school whaling town there is a ton of history in the island air. From the Nantucket baskets, wooden sailboats and all the vintage pieces you can really feel as if you are stepping back in time. We thought we would honor this history with a simple inspiration board that ties it all together. You can have that vintage island feeling at your wedding by adding in a splash here and there.

We saw this inspiration board and went ga-ga for the cheery yellow color scheme.  Reminiscent of daffodils peeking out of the ground in early spring this is great inspiration for a wedding over daffodil weekend.
