Ice, Ice Baby!

With the temperatures dropping outside it got us thinking about ice.  In the wedding world, that translates to diamonds.  There is no doubt that the royal wedding next spring will have a big influence on fashion and trends in the coming months.  We saw this inspiration board on Snippet and Ink and immediately saw the ring that looked similar to Princess Diana’s.  Which got us thinking – what is your style in wedding rings?  Do you have a family heirloom that is passed down, are you a princess cut, will your ring be all diamonds, or are you going to make a bold statement with color?  We’d love to hear about it.

Beach Inspired Gowns

JCrew has been a staple in many a fashion maven’s wardrobe, and they have taken the bridal industry by storm.  With a new flagship store in NYC, you can dress everyone in the bridal party.   A few of their bridal dresses caught our eye.  These would be perfect for a casual beachside wedding.  What’s your style?

Last Minute Gift Ideas

With only a few days left before the end of the holiday season we thought we would share these fab finds from guest Snippet & Ink Blogger Susan. She created three different gift giving themes for bridesmaids gifts and we just fell in love with her “Preppy” list. Visit their website to see all the details for the board below…. and happy shopping!

Need Your Something Blue?

We love finding creative things for Nantucket brides – and boy do we have something fun for you today courtesy of Etsy.  Wedding tradition states that the bride carries something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.  If you are still looking for that ’something blue’ – keep this sassy clutch in mind.  Modeled after a Valentino gown, this artistic bow shape goes well with the latest in sculptured dresses.  Why not make a fashion statement of your own!

Looking for a bridesmaid gift?  Get this designed in another color for your bridesmaid’s to carry their essentials on your big day.

Inspiration Board

Though this wedding day inspiration board doesn’t scream Nantucket at first look, there is something that is classic, elegant and sophisticated about it. And THAT is all Nantucket! When thinking about your wedding day look don’t be afraid to work in some of your person loves, like horses. Pull out the overall feel of the look, like leather and wool and warm tones. You don’t have to go with hay bales and horse sketches if that’s not formal enough for your event. Talk to your florist and designer to help pull out the common details that can work to make your event YOU!

Inspiration board details can be found at Ritzy Bee.
