Though many of us consider Nantucket to be our home it is also a popular destination venue for weddings. If not for the couple then always for their guests! Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Magazine is featuring a stunning Nantucket wedding in their July/August issue coming out on stands right now. The breathtaking Galley wedding is featured in a two page spread with the couples personal story and some inside scoop on their wedding style.

There are many places both on the web and in print for couples to get ideas, color combinations, the latest look in dresses, etc.  One of our favorite resources for island weddings is Wellwed Magazine.  The pages of the magazine are filled to the brim with amazing details that give your day that extra special touch.  The website for the magazine showcases local vendor resources, and posts tips from the most sought after vendors.  Be sure to include this magazine on your must reads as you start to pull the inspiring details together for your ‘I Do’s’.  You will be glad you did.

Nantucket boasts some of the best in the biz when it comes to our wedding vendors. We have shared many of the magazine features showcasing these vendors here on the blog. Today we bring you yet another one from one of our favorite magazines Wellwed!

This fun strawberry themed shoot is featured in the current issue of Wellwed and offers up a new twist to a spring/summer wedding. The perfect look for a casual garden party wedding at Westmoor Farms!

Sara from Griffin-vites Stationery created the colorful watercolor paper products, Meagan from Maine Seasons Events pulled together the concept and design and all photos were shot by Brea McDonald Photography.

The new issue of New York Magazines Weddings is out and Nantucket made the list for ‘Carefree Escapes for Two – Honeymoon Destinations’.  The article states:

‘Once the summer hordes decamp, Nantucket’s flat topography and dramatic coastline make for great cycling.  Pack a picnic basket with lobster rolls and a good blanket, and pedal the three-mile path to Surfside Beach.’

You know the magazine and how it covers all that is fabulous in trends and fashion. Well, we thought it was fantastic they covered our little island!
