Photo Fun Booth!
I am so excited to share with everyone that Brea McDonald Photography is now offering a Photo Fun Booth for our clients!
About two weeks ago we launched our Photo Fun Booth at a Cape Cod wedding…. and lets just say it was a BIG hit!
As you can see the Photo Fun Booth can add a little something “extra” to the after-dinner portion of your evening; with fun props and silly faces the photo booth brings all kinds of guests together! It was surprising how creative guests got when in the booth! It was impossible for anyone to walk away without a smile on their face.
The Photo Fun Booth is fully manned by one of our photographers to get the best shots possible AND get your guests rockin and rollin with some fun props (the sailors hat was a definite favorite of the night). We can use a standard white backdrop or work in a fabric that compliments your wedding day style. The booth is set up off to the side during your reception/welcome party and open for fun after dinner! A great addition to any fun filled weekend!.
Nantucket Photo Booth Featured on Brides.com!
How exciting to see a Nantucket wedding featured online at Brides Magazine and then to see the fantastic team at Nantucket Photo Booth featured was the icing on the cake! The photo booth is a great idea for wedding receptions or rehearsal dinners. A great way to create a guest book, as seen here, and a way to provide your guests with a memento from your wedding weekend.
Wellwed Magazine Features Our Blog and Island Vendors
We have lots to be thankful for in 2010. Among them, the love and support from our sponsors, supporting vendors, amazing brides and couples. One of our biggest supporters from the beginning was Krista and the staff at Wellwed magazine. They worked hard on the Spring/Summer 2010 issue and it does not disappoint!
Within the pages, amazingly talented island vendors have their work showcased on the glossy pages. Among them:
Marty Kelly Paper, Placesetters, Brea McDonald Photography, Griffin-vites, Soiree Floral, Nantucket Photo Booth, Destination Affairs,Unique Nantucket, A Taste of Nantucket, Simply with Style Catering, Nantucket Catering Company, ACK Gift Bags, Cisco Brewers, Susan Warner Catering, Jodi’s Cakes, Nantucket Island Resorts, Claudia Kronenberg Photography, Zofia Photography, Nantucket Party Rentals, Darya Salon, Sperry Tents, A Piece of Cake, Jessica Hicks, The Atlantics, Nantucket Windmill Auto Rental, Nantucket Inn, Susan Lister Locke Jeweler, Parchment, Nantucket Event Media, Plum TV, Sultans of Swing, Chase Canopy, Jared Coffin House, Nantucket Bake Shop, Westmoor Club, Artist Jeanne van Etten and Jeweler Heidi Weddendorf.

Photobooth and Photo Fun on Your Big Day
Today we have guest blogger Wendy from Nantucket Photobooth sharing some thoughts on how to make the most of your Nantucket Photobooth. Take it away Wendy:
Even though it looks very wintry outside today, I know spring is just around the corner. So now is the time, while we all have time, to start planning ahead.
Our photobooth is fun during your event, and there are so many ways to enjoy the photos after the event as well. Using the strips in your guest book is great fun, and since the booth produces two identical strips your guests can keep one for themselves. Let your guests let their personalities shine. Our tip – get a nice big scrapbook and provide lots of colorful pens and glue sticks.
You can also save all the photos taken in the booth onto a DVD. And that means ALL of them…the ones at the beginning of the wedding when people shyly sit behind the curtain and the ones toward the end when they pile in, cocktails raised and faces made. All of this set to music that is special to you.

And how about using a photo strip on your thank you notes? With so many wonderful stationary sites out there, you can implement your photo to make it extra special and personal.
We are all concerned about the state of the economy these days and we want to help make your event really enjoyable and stress free. If your event is midweek, or a smaller event like the rehearsal dinner, contact me and let’s chat! We are here to help you create a lifetime of lasting memories.
